Hallo liebe Kickstarter,
die Mehrheit von Euch ist zur Entscheidung gekommen, dass das Buch „Unseen Westeros“ nicht als digitale Version bereitgestellt werden soll.
Auch wenn in den Kommentaren hier die Tendenz zu sehen ist, daß das digitale Artbook herausgegeben werden soll, so haben wir doch sehr viele ausführliche Mails von Euch erhalten, die sich kritisch und konstruktiv damit beschäftigt und dagegen ausgesprochen haben.
Ein großer Teil hat die Entscheidung damit begründet, dass die „Limitierung und Exklusivität“ oder auch „Investition in dieses Buch“ mit einem digitalem PDF nicht mehr vorhanden wäre.
Wir verstehen aber auch die andere Seite: daher haben wir uns etwas für alle Supporter überlegt, die die Bilder aus dem Artbook weiter erforschen möchten:
Die meisten unserer Künstler haben online-Portfolios, in denen sie ihre Arbeiten präsentieren und die der Öffentlichkeit frei zugänglich sind. Der Grund dafür ist, dass sie mit diesen Portfolios ihre Jobs akquirieren.
Wir haben Euch eine Sammlung mit Links zusammengestellt, auf denen ihr den Großteil der Bilder findet + einiger making of‘s, wie sie entstanden sind.
Die Links sind öffentlich, aber die Text-Zuordnung und das Gesamtwerk haltet nur Ihr Kickstarter in Euren Händen.
Eine Mail mit allen Links geht morgen an euch raus. Solltet ihr dies bis morgenAbend nicht bekommen haben (Spam oder durch eine Gastanmeldung) , schreibt uns bitte eine Mail an [email protected].

Dear Kickstarter,
The majority of you decided that the art book „Unseen Westeros“ should not be accessible as a digital version online.
Even though in the commentaries there is a tendency FOR the digital version, we got many many emails reflecting and explaining the situation in detail and voted against it.
Most of you wrote that the „limittation and exclusiveness“ or the „investment in the book“ would not be existent any more if there is a digital version.
However, we see also those who voted for the digital version. Therefore we have a solution for those who want to see the pictures in more detail.
Most of the artists have an online portfolio, where the show their works which are open to public. The reason for this is that they get new jobs with this portfolio.
We put together a list of links, which shows the majority of the artworks and also some making offs. These links are open to everyone, but the texts in combination with the artworks, so the whole piece is only in your hands.
An email with the links will be sent to you tomorrow. If this doesn’t reach you till tomorrow evening, please send us an email to [email protected].

Einige haben uns gefragt, ob wir Euch das Buch als Passwort Geschütztes PDF bereitstellen könnten, damit die Details der Bilder besser betrachtet werden können.
Wir haben dies mit allen Artists besprochen und sie sind einverstanden.
Die finale Entscheidung liegt jedoch bei Euch!
Wir haben das PDF zurückgehalten, um sicher zu gehen, dass nur Ihr als supporter das ganze Buch mit allen Texten und Bildern vorliegen habt.
Das PDF wird zwar Passwortgeschützt sein - wir müssen aber davon ausgehen, dass das Buch in kürzester Zeit online weitergereicht wird. Dies wird sich nicht verhindern lassen.
Wir möchten die Entscheidung daher Euch überlassen, da ihr das Buch finanziert habt.
Schreibt uns dazu BIS ZUM 21. MÄRZ 12 Uhr ( UTC +1) hier im Verlauf oder schickt uns bitte eine Mail mit :

Wenn die Mehrheit aller Rückmeldungen für das PDF stimmen, schicken wir dieses nächste Woche an Euch raus.

Dear kickstarter,
Some of you asked about a protected file with a password, so that you can see the paintings in more detail.
We talked about this with the artists and they are ok with that. The final decision is on you!
We have hold the pdf back to assure that only you as supporter of the book have the full version of the book with all texts and paintings.
The PDF will be protected with a password - however, we have to take into account that the PDF will be handed over somewhere online very quickly - this is, unfortunately, inevitable.
We want to have this decision made by you, those who financed the book.

Dear Supporter,
We receive many mails asking where their additionally ordered artprints (such which we out online a f t e r the exhibition) are.
Just to let you know: All kickstarter orders went out first. So everything ordered after the exhibition will be sent separately in 2-3 weeks.
We hope you enjoy your pledges and we thank you so much for the support so that all fans could experience the artworks at the exhibition and in the book / prints.
